About the Speaker:
Johan is the guest speaker for Maxis in their nationwide SME Roadshows, speaking at lpoh, Johor, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu & Penang to more than 1500 participants. He has also spoken on stage for companies such as P1, Malaysia Association of Hotels, PIKOM, Royale Bintang Hotels, Exabytes, GTI Media, Digital Marketing Expo, BRANDS seminar, SME Accelerator Program and many more.
One of the highlights of his speaking career was sharing the stage with Malaysia's Fashion Icon Dato Bernard Chandran during an entrepreneur talk.
Johan started speaking at the age of 12 in a story telling competition in primary school. He won the competition. Later in secondary, he was representing his school in the debate team. While he has the ability to speak in front of people, he totally forgot about this during his college and university days.
And it was a forgotten thing for more than 16 years until he participated in various speech contests which includes humor, evaluation and international speech contest, where he was runners-up and also champion. In 2015 marks a great milestone for Johan, as he emerged champion for the international speech contest by Toastmasters International. He represented Pen.Malaysia to Las Vegas, USA to compete with the best in the world in the World Championship of Public Speaking in Aug 2015.
Johan believes in and encourages lifelong learning. He is now eager to impart his skills and knowledge in public speaking through public speaking and coaching sessions.He also teaches teens and kids public speaking to help build their confidence and communication skills to propel their career at a faster pace.
He has taught more than 600 kids from age 7 to 12 years old to speak on stage. Kids have spoken at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Mid Valley Exhibition Hall, Jungle Gym, Sunway Lagoon, BFM 89.9, lkano Shopping Centre, Gardens Theatre, Mid Point Shopping Centre and Jay a Shopping Mall.
